Once I covered my hands in the powders, my heart began racing. I’m about to climb the wall. The stares of people around me make me feel like a hero. I am not scared like I used to be. I can feel the wall, waiting for me to climb it. I walked towards the wall. My left foot touched the first rock. I can hear the gasps of people around me. Now is the time. I reached for the blue rock above my head. I started climbing. It was a very quiet moment. Only the voice of the commentator could be heard. Then, without realizing, I reached the top of the wall! I punched my fists into the air. I smiled from ear to ear. As the ropes slowly brought me to the ground, everyone cheered for me. It was a moment of anguish for me.
