so, arrived at the campsite.then, went to the hall. gaah. i'm so lazy to type out the whole thing. just type out the interesting parts.
so,basically, we had to do hiking with our hiking bag. filled with, mesh tins,clothes,food,water,and all sorts of stuff you'd bring while hiking.
so, we hiked so as to reach our next campsite. once we arrive, we'd pitch our tents and yeah.eat,sleep. we hiked for a damn few kilometres. it was so freaking tiring. each of us were given duties. as for me, i'm just the entertainer.sadly, not a very good one. so yeah. i tried to get everyone to sing, do cheers, argue with Isa's chicken. blabla etcetc.
i miss Isa's chicken.haha. okay.then we had to kayak all around pulau ubin to get to our original campsite so that we can sleep and get ready to go home. all the while during kayaking, i laughed at zack and Isa's silly works. hahaha
they kept on disturbing Yao. pity her. at last she changed kayak.hahah. so, half way zack decided to berry. everyone got super far from their kayak. HAHAHA!
luckily he didn't. no idea why.hahah. oh yes. i remeber. the day before kayaking, we rested at this area and ate and talked and stuff. and that was the day me and my groupmates began to talk and joke with each other. it all began with Isa.
haha. such a joker. and i remember reuben with calami lotion all over his body. haha. so back to the kayak story. in the end, we all managed to get to our original campsite in less than 4 hours. and we got a reward.
we did a jetty jump!
yay! i suddenly became brave and immediately jumped when it was my turn. sadly, i opened my eyes when i was still in the water. ended up with red eyes until i reach school. pfft. so, while swimming back to shore. a school of small fic\shes were so stupid and they kept on hoping out of the water. and i heard Isa say.
"eh! the fish got hit me in the head sia!haha!"
it was so funny!
hahaha. then we cleaned up, packed up, and got ready for the next day.
ohh, there's one memorable moment during the camp. while hiking, we rested for awhile. Roland, our instructor, shared with us a story. and he told us to pick up a stone, close our eyes, and make a wish. then, when we reached our destination, it was a super high tower.where we could see some other pulaus of singapore and parts of malaysia. then, with the wind blowing, roland told us to hold our stones in our palm,grip it hard and say our wish one more time in our head. then, on the count of three, we threw the stone as far as we could and screamed our lungs out.
guess what... i think the wish i made actually came true.hehe.
it was so memorable,touching.sadly, we were too tired to have those feelings. then we rested. the tower was super shaky. and Isa started complaining about the shakiness. i felt it too. and it made me imagine horrible stuffs. at last we went down, and continued hiking.
fuuh. i miss those days man.
i miss sleeping with dian. i miss jokng with isa and mum.
i miss talking to yao.
i miss laughing at zack
i miss sharing my interests about drum majors with reuben. that oh-so talented guy.
so. time we had to go the next day. we had a small talk by roland. then, he told us to close our eyes as he gave out our certificates and our picture. as he was giving it out, he continued talking. making us feel so touched. by the time i opened my eyes, it was already flooded with tears. including yao and mum. we were crying. it was so sad to leave. i didn't wanted to leave then.
after all the tears, we went to the gift shop. to buy our t-shirts. i thought i had money. but i don't. i decided i dn't need to buy. then, reuben heard me with no money. he took out his wallet, and gave me $14. i was speechless. wow!
at first i refused to take. but he forced me to take and buy myself a t-shirt. how kind can he be????
