haluu.
oh, i is back from my violin practical exam.
lemme tell you something..
I SCREWED MY SIGHT-READING.
who wouldn't?!
i was only given half a minute (30seconds) to look through the short piece.
and i was fricking shocked that the piece given was longer than what i expected and what i've been practicing.
D: D: D:
i panicked.
and there were like, 3rd or 4th positions?!
LOL WTF.
yeah. i screwed my sight-reading.
and i hate my first piece.
i. hate. that. song.
my arms were trembling throughout the whole exam which made it hard for me to control my bowing
and because of that,
i failed to do proper expressions and dynamics and you name it.
UUUGHHH.
thanks dear friends for the support.
okay. let me just describe the whole situation in proper English.
i entered the Allegro music school welcomed with cool air from the room and a smiling clerk
sitting behind a desk.
settled the admin stuffs with the clerk and took a seat waiting anxiously for my turn.
the soft violin music played from a radio was just a slight distraction for me as i sat there trying to recall my scales, arpeggios and mainly everything.
my accompaniment teacher came in and waited with me.
after a few minutes of waiting, the clerk brought me and my accompaniment teacher past the many studios towards a studio at the end.
we waited silently for this so-called bell to ring until its fine for me to enter.
while waiting, the clerk kind of motivated me and tried to make me un-nervous.
the bell rung and the clerk opened the door for me.
i entered with a confident smile etched on my face.
the examiner was an Englishman. he looked kind,
not the dim-witted kind, he gave me a smile and greeted me.
i did as well. took my place behind the music stand and got ready.
my arms weren't steady, i tried to keep my cool and began my first piece.
it was okay, at least until the middle part. which i think i screwed. not that badly.
the second piece was a bit better. i did a little bit of vibrato which made the examiner look up
and then look back to his papers and began jotting down comments.
the third piece was kinda okay.
urgh i dunno.
moving on to scales.
this, i'm not really good at.
yes i do remember all of them 31 scales, arpeggios, chromatics, dominant and diminished sevenths.
but i did get confused on the G major scale.
lucky for me the examiner was a kind hearted man and he corrected me.
D:
but still, that cut points.
D: !
and then, sight-reading.
i. don't. wanna. talk. about. this.
aural was okay.
sigh.
left the school and was trying hard to fight back my tears. thrice, my tears almost streamed down my face as i sat in the bus.
oh no but i didn't cry.
so i bought a medium YAMI Yogurt and sat outside the library emo-ing and reminiscing how i did for my exam.
it was a very delightful treat you know, ohh YAMI.
harharhar!
sigh
i don't think i can get a distinction.
not even a merit.
maybe just a pass?
i hope its not a fail.
a pass will do.
merit will be good.
gaah.
i don't know man.
i just don't feel good about the results.
maybe i should get myself a Hot Fudge Sundae from McDonald's.
yummmmm.
nom nom nom.
